DIRECTOR OF THERAPY

Renee Plata, M.S., Ed

Renee received her Double Masters degree at Bank Street College in New York City. Renee has over 20 years of experience as a Special Educator. She has worked with children with a variety of learning disabilities. Renee’s experience includes consulting with families and school systems on cognitive, social, behavioral and IEP development. Renee is Level 1 DIR certified. She is also a parent of a young adult on the spectrum, which equips her with insight to address daily needs of our families.

Hannah Smith

Hannah graduated with her bachelors degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from Troy University in December 2015. Hannah started here as an intern, and has greatly enjoyed the experience that Puzzle Piece has to offer. Hannah is excited to work with children with special needs, and hopes to expand her knowledge and skills.
